Discover the calanques

You cannot stay in La Ciotat to get to the calanques of Cassis, Marseille and of course La Ciotat. La Rotonde Hotel invites you to discover the calanques through four routes organised by the friends of creeks. Excursions are departing from La Ciotat, not far from our hotel, and last between 45 minutes and 2 hours 30. The mugel and Figuerolles creeks that end in the Eagle's beak, as well as the Green Island that acts as a natural breakwater, are breathtaking.

Diving and other nautical activities

Lovers of the sea will be under the charm of this resort town on a human scale which contains an exceptional dive site with nearly 23-point dive for all levels. The diving Passion club will be able to make you discover the secrets of these seabed.

You can also go kayaking with Expenature, surfing with Gas Surf Club, try your hand at windsurfing or even rent a boat with Alizé rental. The Halieuti association may however make you discover the pleasures of fishing.

Eden, the oldest cinema in the world

Do you know where the oldest cinema in the world? At La Ciotat! It is in this film, l ' Éden, took place in 1985 the first cinema projection. Organized by brothers lights, we saw the arrival of a train at la Ciotat station. Today, you can visit this place of the 7th art.

In addition to the Eden Theatre, numerous places, buildings and chapels make up the cultural heritage of la Ciotat, and are to visit.
